buried Alive
In 1999, Geoff decided to honour his recently deceased mother by reclaiming a World Record she had set 30 years previously. The former nun had spent 100 days buried alive inside a coffin in Skegness. Now, from a Nottingham pub garden, Geoff was attempting to reclaim this title from an American alligator wrestler usurper. This film, with the help of an unseen diary from 6 feet under, tells his record breaking 147 day story; it’s boozy inception, the world's media descending, marriage proposals, death threats and tabloid scandals. All ending in controversy as Guiness refused to recognise it.

In 1969 as Sympathy for the Devil rocked the US, deep in Communist Romania a teenager was secretly tuning in. This simple act put Emil in prison for 6 years at the mercy of the torturous Securitate. 50 years later, Emil Hidos wants to reconcile with the past and find those imprisoned with him.
This project is currently seeking funding.
